Alois Mosbacher, to whom the Belvedere in Vienna is devoting a solo exhibition until September, is showing a cross-section of his work from the last 15 years as well as his latest works at the L.art Galerie. Mosbacher's paintings are full of mystery; he shows ordinary objects in unusual constellations. In large-format flower paintings and his forest landscapes, he deals with transience. Swiss-born Frenzi Rigling also draws her impulses from nature, working with everyday objects that she gives new meaning in alienated constellations. From a feminist and at the same time poetic point of view, Rigling makes the hidden visible.
